Most accountants will set up a website when they first start practicing, and then forget about it. But website styles and technology move quickly, and if you don’t keep up your website and your practice will be left behind.

It’s important that your website is mobile friendly if it’s not already. Mobile usage among the business market has grown rapidly with Google reporting that 50% of business to business search queries are made on smartphones, and this is predicted to rise to 70% by 2020.

Not having a mobile friendly site will seriously affect your presence in search results and can put off potential clients.

Use Google’s free test to see if your website is optimised for mobile use: mobile-friendly. If it shows issues with your site, make sure you fix them to improve your site ranking, traffic, bounce rate, and customer engagement opportunities.
